Last week, my wife and I took our kids to Yosemite for a few days. Both mornings I woke up early (before the kids were awake) to watch the sunrise. The first morning I decided to go up to Tunnel View. When I arrived, there was no one around and the sky looked clear. As I waited, the clouds began to fill in to the East, when dawn finally broke, I could tell I was in for a real treat. I was fully expecting a row of tripods at Tunnel View, but as it turned out, I shared this view with only about three other people. It was truly a magical morning and day, because right after taking this, I drove back to Yosemite Lodge and got to ride bikes around the park with my kids!
