Just got back from a 9 day trip to the Pacific Northwest. Our trip included stops in Seattle, Mt. Baker, Vancouver, Victoria and Portland.
Before we left, I had to go up to Tahoe to photograph a family reunion. One of the mornings I was there, I decided to wake up for an early sunrise. I had scouted this lupine grove a couple weeks earlier, but it was a day trip and I couldn’t convince my wife to wake up early! When I got to this spot, I realized that I had left my Lee Filters at home, so I underexposed this shot to maintain a little detail in the sky. Let me know what you think!
